I thought I had seen these X 'pyramid' looking structures under my scope not all that long ago, and not with salt specifically, but I had not interfered with any lasers at all. So thought I would test for myself last night with my Himalayan Salt and RO water.
Result - I get these same X's appearing on the Himalayan Salt crystals as well, but no laser interference, some are near perfect like your image in the right.
I had to come back and re-read whether the X crystals were laser or not. So the X 'pyramid crystal is with laser correct?
